Neodymium Disc Magnet – 12.7mm x 6.35mm | White TPR Coated | Push Pin Magnet

The Neodymium Disc Magnet – 12.7mm x 6.35mm | White TPR Coated | Push Pin Magnet is a premium rare earth magnetic push pin designed to securely hold documents, photographs, notices, schedules, plans, and signage to any ferrous metal surface. Featuring a high-strength neodymium magnet core enclosed within a durable white thermoplastic rubber (TPR) coating, this push pin magnet combines exceptional magnetic performance with a clean, professional appearance suitable for offices, schools, retail environments, workshops, and modern home spaces.

Measuring 12.7mm (½ inch) in diameter and 6.35mm (¼ inch) thick, this compact magnet delivers impressive holding power while remaining comfortable to grip and easy to reposition. The white TPR coating provides a soft, non-slip surface that helps protect whiteboards, filing cabinets, refrigerators, lockers, and other steel surfaces from scratches while improving durability and handling.

Its neutral white finish blends seamlessly into professional environments, making it an excellent choice for minimalist office spaces, presentation boards, healthcare facilities, classrooms, and colour-coded organisational systems where a clean, unobtrusive appearance is preferred.

Whether you're displaying important notices, organising production schedules, managing project boards, or simply keeping everyday documents secure, the 12.7mm x 6.35mm White TPR Push Pin Magnet offers a reliable, reusable, and professional magnetic fastening solution.

Why Choose a White TPR Push Pin Magnet?

The 12.7mm x 6.35mm White TPR Push Pin Magnet combines the exceptional holding power of a premium neodymium magnet with the practicality of a protective rubber coating. The TPR surface improves grip, makes the magnet easier to remove, and helps reduce scratching or marking on painted and polished metal surfaces compared to traditional bare magnets.

Its clean white finish is ideal for environments where presentation matters, including offices, conference rooms, healthcare facilities, classrooms, and retail displays. It also works well within colour-coded organisational systems, allowing documents, departments, or workflows to be identified while maintaining a neat and professional appearance.

Compared to conventional ferrite office magnets, the neodymium core delivers significantly greater holding strength, making it capable of securely holding multiple sheets of paper, laminated documents, lightweight signage, and other materials with confidence.

Please Note

This magnet is designed for use on ferrous (iron-containing) metal surfaces only and will not adhere to aluminium, copper, brass, timber, plastic, glass, or most grades of stainless steel.

The TPR coating helps protect magnetic surfaces from scratches and improves grip during handling. However, care should still be taken when using the magnet on delicate painted or polished finishes.

Keep out of reach of children, as small magnets present a serious swallowing hazard. Keep away from pacemakers, implanted medical devices, sensitive electronic equipment, and magnetic storage media. Neodymium magnets are extremely strong but brittle and should not be drilled, machined, or struck with force, as the internal magnet may crack or shatter. To maximise the lifespan of the product, avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat, harsh chemicals, or environments that may damage the rubber coating or reduce magnetic performance.

Surface Treatment

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Range and Tolerance

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. We specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Magnetic Properties

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
