Pot Magnet: Male Thread

These C type Holding or ”Pot” magnets are single sided, ie; the field is largely deflected to the base surface, and can be secured into position or attached to other material by using the appropriate size nut on the protruding Male type thread. Larger diameter magnets are stronger and heavier and have larger male threads to compensate for this. These strong Neodymium magnets will attach to anything that has a hole in it, including timber, steel, aluminium and plastic, They allow any material to be secured to metal surfaces and also to be removed quickly and easily. The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel vertically. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel)  are generally able to hold around 30% of the pull force listed due to the effects of gravity and the lack of traction between the surface and the shiny magnet.
