Self-Adhesive Sheet Magnets

All our magnetic sheets are made from a flexible magnetic rubber designed for creating eye-catching signage, artwork, and magnetic displays with ease. Our magnetic sheets with adhesive backing are of high quality and are self-adhesive on one side and have a protective peel-away paper backing on the adhesive side.

The adhesive backs allow the magnets to be easily attached to a number of surfaces. Both sides of the product are black, once you peel away the white adhesive backing. This makes them great for making your own fridge magnets and is ideal to add to the back to artworks or cards to be stuck on magnetic surfaces creating displays, posters, whiteboards, and more.

Self-Adhesive Sheet Magnets

Flexible Magnetic Properties

Frenergy Self-Adhesive Flexible Magnetic Sheets are constructed from Strontium or Barium ferrite powder magnetic material within a polymer matrix. They are manufactured to provide good demagnetisation resistance and resistance to chemical agents. Magnetic sheets may lose their magnetisation when temperatures are higher than 80 degrees. We recommend keeping a small distance between our self-adhesive magnetic sheets and other Frenergy magnets as this may cause demagnetisation. They can be stamped, slit, punched, or laminated.

How to Use Self-Adhesive Sheet Magnets

The magnetic sheets with adhesive backing can be easily cut and are ideal for making magnetic-backed products and signage. These are also great to attach to the back of notes, invitations, recipes, and photos that can be stuck on magnetic surfaces like the fridge in the home or office. Add these to the back of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards so they can be proudly stuck on the fridge to be seen by everyone.

The adhesive magnetic sheet will ensure they stick to a magnetic surface time and time again and they are flexible so they will not crack. The peel and stick magnetic sheets are really good if you want to make your own fridge magnets, magnetic labels, car door magnets, or magnetic signage. Sheets of magnetic material can be used for a variety of other applications as well depending on what you have in mind.

Self Adhesive Magnetic Sheet Products

Depending on what you want to adhere the sheets to, the thickness of the sheet must be carefully selected. Thicker sheets have more magnetic strength than thin sheets because they contain more magnetic material.

You may choose from our Self-Adhesive Magnetic Sheets or rolls ranging from 0.4mm to 1mm in thickness. The A4 and the larger A3 size adhesive-backed magnetic sheets are available in thickness increments of 2mm, ranging from 0.4mm to 1mm. Attach your A4 or A3 size printed paper or vinyl to the adhesive side and use the other magnetic side to attach your print to metal surfaces. Alternatively, use the adhesive side to attach to any type of material or surface you wish, which will then become magnetic and compatible with other magnetic surfaces.

The 0.4mm to 0.6mm thick commercial grade fridge magnet material is suitable generally only for indoor use. The sheet is self-adhesive on one side, so you can stick any paper or cardstock to it for a strong hold without the need of any additional glue. The thinner Self-Adhesive Magnetic Sheeting has low magnetic strength but is very flexible and economical. Thin sticky back magnetic sheets are easy to cut into other shapes that are irregular and are very flexible which may be more suited to your application or purpose.

The 0.6mm Magnetic Self-Adhesive Sheeting is commonly used. It is also economical, thin, easily cut, and flexible.

The 0.8mm and 1mm thick Self-adhesive Magnetic Sheeting comes in a sheet and a roll. It is very durable, rigid, and has strong adhesion for flat surfaces only. The stronger magnetic sheets with adhesive backing are recommended for and work well on curved vehicle bodies.

The stronger magnetic sheets with adhesive backing material may be cut from one of our rolls of magnetic stock. The 0.8mm to 1mm thick outdoor grade magnetic material is perfect for magnetic outdoor signage or car door magnets.

The peel and stick magnetic sheets can be purchased as one single unit, by the meter or by the roll.

FAQ
How do you use magnetic adhesive sheets?
Magnetic sheets are simple to use. First cut them to the required size with a Stanley/craft knife or scissors. Then peel away the protective paper on the sticky-back of the magnetic sheet. Press the adhesive side of the sheet to the object, such as a poster or photo, that you wish to make magnetic. Once adhered, your object will now be able to magnetically bond to metallic surfaces.

Do magnetic sheets stick to each other?
No, magnetic sheets do not stick to each other. They can be used alongside each other, but will not adhere to each other.

Do magnets stick to magnetic sheets?
You can use our whiteboard or fridge magnets on steel sheets, but not on our regular magnetic sheets. We recommend keeping a small distance between our self-adhesive magnetic sheets and other magnets as this may cause demagnetisation. Neodymium or ferrite have greater magnetic performance, they will actually damage the magnetic sheeting by realigning the magnetic particles in the sheet. If you are wanting to use a flexible sheet with neodymium magnets you should use a ferrous sheet or tape.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel vertically. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel)  are generally able to hold around 30% of the pull force listed due to the effects of gravity and the lack of traction between the surface and the shiny magnet.
