Neodymium Disc Magnet – 22mm x 15mm | N45H | High Temperature 120°C
The Neodymium Disc Magnet 22mm x 15mm | N45H | High Temperature 120°C is a high-performance rare earth permanent magnet engineered for applications requiring exceptional magnetic strength and reliable performance in elevated temperature environments. Manufactured from premium N45H-grade Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB), this heavy-duty disc magnet measures 22mm in diameter and 15mm thick, making it ideal for industrial automation, electric motors, engineering assemblies, magnetic fixtures, and OEM manufacturing.
The N45H magnetic grade combines excellent magnetic energy with enhanced thermal stability, allowing the magnet to operate continuously at temperatures of up to 120°C without significant loss of magnetic performance. This makes it an excellent choice for equipment exposed to heat from motors, generators, machinery, automotive systems, and industrial processes where standard neodymium magnets may become permanently demagnetised.
Its substantial thickness produces a deep, concentrated magnetic field, delivering outstanding holding force for demanding applications. The magnet is axially magnetised, meaning the north and south poles are located on the two flat circular faces, providing maximum magnetic performance when mounted against a ferrous steel surface or used in stacked configurations.
Finished with a durable nickel-copper-nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) coating, this magnet provides excellent resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and everyday wear while maintaining a bright, polished finish.

Why Choose an N45H High Temperature Neodymium Disc Magnet?
The 22mm x 15mm N45H High Temperature Neodymium Disc Magnet is designed for applications where strong magnetic holding power and thermal stability are equally important. The N45H grade offers higher magnetic strength than many standard neodymium magnets while maintaining reliable performance at temperatures of up to 120°C, making it ideal for industrial environments where heat is a constant factor.
Its large diameter and thick profile create a powerful, concentrated magnetic field, making it suitable for magnetic mounting systems, engineering fixtures, automation equipment, machinery, and demanding manufacturing applications where long-term reliability is essential.

Please Note
This is a high-strength rare earth magnet and should be handled with care. Due to its size and magnetic strength, it can attract steel objects or other magnets with considerable force, creating pinch hazards and potentially causing the magnet to chip or fracture if allowed to snap together.
Maximum holding force is measured under ideal conditions using a clean, flat, thick mild steel surface with full face-to-face contact. Actual magnetic performance will vary depending on the steel thickness, air gap, surface finish, mounting arrangement, and operating environment.
Although this N45H magnet is designed for continuous operation at temperatures of up to 120°C, prolonged exposure to temperatures above this limit may result in permanent loss of magnetic strength. Keep away from children, pacemakers, implanted medical devices, sensitive electronic equipment, and magnetic storage media. Do not drill, machine, or strike the magnet, as neodymium is hard but brittle and may crack or shatter under excessive mechanical stress.

Surface Treatment
The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.
Range and Tolerance
Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. We specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.
Magnetic Properties
Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
