Neodymium Magnet Fishing- D75mm (200kg) | Double Sided Magnetised
Same Day Dispatch
Order before 1pm to qualify for same day dispatch.
Round shaped pot magnets are suitable for fishing or metal or ferrous items retrieval.
Each magnet can support up to 200kg vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness. Magnetic Fishing comes with removable, heavy-duty 304 stainless steel M10 Eyebolt fixing. The eyebolt's shape allows for ropes and cables to be attached to the magnet with ease, making it a strong and efficient performer in lifting, holding and retrieval applications. Ideal for magnet fishing too if you already have a rope.
Magnetic fishing is a popular new hobby that combines the excitement of treasure hunting with the classic joys of fishing. The activity simply involves attaching a strong magnet to a rope and throwing it in to discover what lurks under the water. This powerful fishing magnet has been specifically designed to be ideal for threading a sturdy rope through the eyelets, allowing heavy metal objects to be pulled to the surface of the water.
Steel cap protects magnets from chipping and break due to impact.
Note:
Magnet only attracts iron and iron alloy, nickel and nickel alloy. Magnet does not attract gold, silver, copper, aluminium or Stainless Steel.
Magnetic force should be tested on a base of 20mm steel plate. The thinner the steel plate is, the weaker the magnetic force would be.
Most of all the magnetic force concentrate at the bottom of the fishing magnet (One side magnetic force surface), there is nearly no any magnetic force of other surface of the fishing magnet

Surface Treatment
The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.
Range and Tolerance
Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.
Magnetic Properties
Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
