Neodymium Ring Magnets

Outside Diameter: 13mm

Height: 2mm

Inside Diameter: 5mm

Grade: N35

Coating: Nickel (Ni)

Magnetized Direction: Through height - 2mm

Pull force: 1.27kg

Surface field: -1,999 gauss

This neodymium magnetic ring is also known as a rare earth ring magnet. It has an outside diameter of 13mm and inside diameter of 5mm and a height of 2mm. Its magnetic flux reading is 1999 Gauss and it has a pull force or magnet force of 1.27 kilos. Magnetic properties of this strong magnet ring include an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees celsius. This Neodymium magnet has a Nickel coating which is the most common coating on Rare Earth magnets. This protects them and will minimise corrosion.

Ring magnets have a wide range of uses. They can be located on a round shaft or round pin that matches the rings inside diameter. The small hole in the centre of a ring magnet also makes it simple to attach to another surface with thread or a length of wire.

When used as pairs and positioned with opposite poles, they can be used as a closure if placed on either side of a garment. Another example of use is to magnetically join components of a scale model or other consumer products.

Other modern uses of the Neodymium ring magnets include wind turbines, power tools, electric generators, electric motors, motor vehicle ABS systems, and all sound amplification and communication equipment.
