Order before 1pm to qualify for same day dispatch.
This Neodymium block magnet has a pull force of 15.04kg. It has a length of 75mm, a width of 12mm and a height of 6mm. This magnet is N45 grade and has two countersunk holes, each with a diameter of 3.4mm to 6.4mm at an angle of 90°.
Neodymium countersunk magnets come into their own when non-ferrous materials need to be made magnetic. In locations where steel surfaces predominate, the countersunk Neodymium magnet can be easily attached to different materials like timber, plastic or alloy. Attaching the magnets with screws to softer and more aesthetically pleasing materials makes them removable and reusable. Steel fencing and safety barriers can be embellished with magnetically attached decorative or protective sheets for a promotional event, street stall or any outdoor function. For outdoor signage, these small Rare Earth magnets can transform how advertising is displayed. Acrylic advertising material or important information can be magnetically applied to steel structures or scaffolding, great for presenting information about safety standards, directions or product information.
These strong Neodymium block magnets with a countersunk hole at each end can hold up to 15.04kg each. They can be attached to a range of materials with a countersunk screw to make it magnetic and then later removed if needed. A flat metal plate of similar size can act as a metal attraction point for locations where there are few metal surfaces. Rebating the entire magnet into timber, MDF or similar material will make a seamless and invisible join to a metal plate or metal surface. These magnets allow for a much less obtrusive method of attachment and closure and are extremely versatile in countless applications.

Surface Treatment
The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.
Range and Tolerance
Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.
Magnetic Properties
Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
