Outside Diameter: 5mm (0.197" in.)
Height: 2mm (0.0787" in.)
Inside Diameter: 2mm (0.0787" in.
Grade: N45
Coating: Nickel (Ni)
Magnetized Direction: Through height - 2mm
The neodymium magnetic ring, also known as a rare earth ring magnet, has an outer diameter of 5mm, a height of 2mm and an inner diameter of 2mm. With grades ranging from N30 to N50, this N45 ring is a strong magnet ring with a strong magnetic force.
Neodymium magnetic material offers the highest magnetic strength compared with other permanent magnetic materials. They have a wide range of uses. Because this tiny ring-shaped magnet is very strong for its size and weight, it can be integrated into small products to utilise the magnetic properties. The magnets can activate switches and circuitry as they interact with electromagnetic fields.
Other uses include two of these small permanent magnets being used to create a magnetic bond between two surfaces. This would avoid the use of conventional attachment methods such as clips, pins or glue.
The rings can be used as magnetic folder closures for hobbyist scrapbooking or with commercial brochure manufacturers which are increasing in popularity. Jewellers and costume designers also find magnetic hold a practical and inexpensive option for their creations.
The ring shape of this magnet makes it easy to be attached to items using thread or wire. This is particularly handy and useful for those using them for crafting purposes.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel vertically. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around 30% of the pull force listed due to the effects of gravity and the lack of traction between the surface and the shiny magnet.
